Water Filters

This water filter has the most siliphos which helps prevent lime from sticking to the ice machine. This filter has a 5 micron rating. 

Used for ice machines with hard water conditions.

This water filter contains carbon which removes taste and odor. The S in the model signifies that it also has siliphos but not near as much as the CFS-420IMF. This filter has a 5 micron rating. 

Best used for ice machines that share its water for drinking purposes.

This water filter has a pre-filter, and very basic filtration. There is no siliphos or carbon in this filter. It has a 5 micron rating. 

Best used for an ice machine that is on soft water.

This water filter comes inside the HDI-10. Its comparable to the CFS-117S filter. The water filter has carbon for taste and odor. It also has siliphos for mild scale prevention. It has a 0.5 micron rating. 

Best used when the ice machine and drinking water are shared. 

This is 3M's quick change filter series. There is a valve within the head, therefore you don't need to shut off the water. Simply twist the cartridge counter clockwise and it pops off. If the model number ends in a zero, its a 0.5 micron rating. If the model ends in a 5, its either a 1 micron or 3 in the larger filters. The larger the model number, the larger the capacity. These filters have carbon for taste and odor. If there is an 'S' at the end, siliphos is added for scale reduction. 

Best used for mild hard water conditions where the water will be used for drink water.
